Music Programs

The Chancel Choir – Anyone is welcome to sing with us.  The Chancel Choir sings weekly at the 11 AM Sunday worship service as well as special services during the year.  We rehearse on Wednesdays from 7:30 to 9:00 PM.

The Handbell Choir – There are several openings in the Handbell Choir this year.  Besides using the four octaves we have added two octaves of handchimes as well.  All are welcome; if you read music it helps.  We ring for Sunday morning worship services every month or two.  We practice from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesdays.  

The Children’s Choir – St. Joseph First United Methodist Church Children’s Choir is a group (three year olds to Fifth Grade) who commit to rehearse and present songs about Christian life.   The parents of these children are an indispensable help and support of this ministry, and their commitment and hard work are greatly appreciated and commended.

The Youth Choir – The Youth Choir meets weekly for rehearsal (The day and time are set at the beginning of each year by the participants.) and sings for Sunday morning worship services and occasionally for other programs.  Youth in Middle School and High School are encouraged to participate.

The Worship Band (TWB) – The Worship Band meets Mondays at 6:30 PM.  We need singers and guitar players!  We sing and lead worship for our Catch 9:45 service on Sunday mornings.
